CBS has decided not to run Supergirl’s second season and move it to The CW instead.
THR reports that lower than expected ratings along with high production costs prompted the network to move the show to its sister channel along with a production move to less expensive Vancouver instead of LA.
Supergirl will be the 4th DC comics show on The CW allowing an easier way to crossover shows, The Flash appearance earlier in the season proved to be a needed ratings uptick.
