Deadline reports that actor Alden Ehrenreich has been cast as the lead in the upcoming Young Han Solo Anthology film.
Ehrenreich starred in February’ s Hail Cesar! and can next be seen in this falls untitled Howard Hughes film directed by Warren Beatty.
With filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller at the helm, the spin-off is expected to tell among other things the origins of Han and Chewbacca’s friendship.
The movie is currently scheduled to be released on May 25, 2018.
